Changes to USD spot trading pairs

Published on 3 Sept 20263 min read

We will be making the following changes to our USD spot trading pairs to consolidate market liquidity.

USDT/USD is not affected. It will remain available for trading, and no action is required for this pair.

Key dates

  • 30 September 2026, 4:00pm (UTC+8):

    • All current Crypto/USD spot trading pairs except USDT/USD ("affected USD pairs") will be delisted.

    • All open orders and margin positions on affected USD pairs will be automatically cancelled or closed.

  • 30 September 2026, 3:00pm - 4:00pm (UTC+8):

    • All active trading bots on affected USD pairs will be closed.

  • 23 September 2026, 4:00pm (UTC+8):

    • New replacement pairs will be listed and displayed as Crypto/USDC pairs. They will support trading with USD, USDC, USDG, and RLUSD through a unified order book.

    • The Crypto/USDC pairs will be renamed to Crypto/USD on 30 September 2026, 4:00pm (UTC+8).

What you need to do

Between 23 September 2026, 4:00pm and 30 September 2026, 3:00pm (UTC+8):

  • Cancel your open orders and close your margin positions on the affected USD pairs.

  • Place any new orders or open new positions using the corresponding new replacement pairs.

  • Stop all trading bots using the affected USD pairs, then recreate them using the corresponding new replacement pairs.

  • For API users:

    • Replace each affected Crypto-USD instrument ID with the corresponding Crypto-USDC instrument ID.

    • To continue trading with USD, set tradeQuoteCcy to USD if you do not already specify this parameter.

If you are an API user, you can continue using the Crypto-USDC instrument IDs after the affected USD pairs are delisted. You will no longer be able to place orders using the affected Crypto-USD instrument IDs after the delisting. See the API changelog for more information.

How will the new pairs appear?

When introduced on 23 September 2026, the new replacement pairs will be displayed as Crypto/USDC pairs, e.g. BTC/USDC.

From 30 September 2026, 4:00pm (UTC+8), they will be displayed as Crypto/USD pairs, e.g. BTC/USDC pair will be renamed to BTC/USD. This is a display name change only. Orders placed on the new replacement pairs before the display name change will remain active; you do not need to take any action on these orders.
