What can be traded with on-chain accounts
This article explains which products your on-chain account supports and how a single balance funds all of them. You never need to move funds between them.
What is on-chain trading?
Every order you place, cancel, or modify in your on-chain account is an on-chain transaction. That differs from a centralized exchange in four ways:
You sign each action with your private key. Without your signature, nobody can trade on your behalf
Transactions go into blocks, and every node in the network processes them under identical rules, so every node arrives at the same balances and positions
Matching, fills, funding fee settlement, and liquidation all happen on-chain, not inside one company's database
The system hashes the full ledger state at a fixed interval and generates a cryptographic proof for each range of blocks
Which products does your on-chain account support?
Product | What you can do |
|---|---|
Perpetual futures | Go long or short with leverage and no expiry date. A funding fee keeps the price anchored to spot |
Spot | Buy and sell spot tokens |
Prediction markets | Buy YES or NO shares on an outcome, and get paid out when the market settles if your side wins |
Your balance works across all three products, so you don't transfer funds between products, and you don't maintain a separate balance for each one.
> Crypto products involve significant risk. Prices can go up and down, and you may get back less than you put in.
